19 May Friday, We’re in Love…. with La Double J
Maximalist tablescaping is alive and well thanks to La Double J’s latest colourful collection of delightfully patterned plates, tablecloths and napkins, all in collaboration with Italian heritage brands Bitossi Home, the ceramic masters of Tuscany and legendary linens producer Mascioni.
Aptly titled La Double J Housewives, the collection draws its inspiration from “Milanese Sciura” the Italian haute-couture-hostesses, think of the ultimate Italian woman who mesmerizes her guests with her effortless production, whether it be through her fashion choices or chic soirées.

American-born, Milan-based designer & founder JJ Martin, claims she’s been a maximalist since she was five. A self-confessed printaholic, she began creating vintage-inspired clothing from the wildest prints of Bitossi’s archive. After her fashion line, she began looking into tableware inspired by her grandmothers china, pairing it with her mismatched pieces and the colourful archives of Bitossi and voila – La Double J Housewives was born.
We are so excited our Pavone plateware and linens from the collection will be available for hire late June/early July. Please contact us regarding pricing, a quote or to arrange a viewing. You can also sign up for updates about it’s arrival, via our newsletter.
